My Story

I began my career as a medical doctor in Argentina, practicing traditional medicine and doing my best to help patients manage their symptoms. Over time, I realized that many of the issues I was treating kept returning. I wanted to do more than offer temporary solutions—I wanted to help people prevent disease and create long-term change in their health.

That shift led me to Columbia University, where I completed a Master’s program in Nutrition. During that time, I adopted a vegetarian lifestyle. Although I initially felt better, old habits eventually took over—cheeses, processed foods, and the comfort meals I grew up with. My health suffered: allergies, food sensitivities, hormonal imbalance, constant bloating, fatigue, depression, and weight gain.

Trying to understand what was happening, I immersed myself in research and discovered the strong evidence supporting Whole Food Plant-Based Nutrition. As a physician, I was surprised by how little this was emphasized in medical training. That realization changed everything. I became certified in Plant-Based Nutrition and later trained as a Health Coach, determined to bring lifestyle medicine into the clinical world.

My own transformation taught me a key truth: most people know what to do—they need support, accountability, and practical guidance to follow through. Teaching clients how to shop, cook, plan meals, and build sustainable habits became central to my approach.

This inspired me to create CB Health & Wellness Center, an online telehealth practice where I combine my medical background with lifestyle coaching to support patients in ways a traditional 15-minute visit cannot. Today, my work focuses on helping individuals improve their nutrition, manage weight, reduce risk factors, and create healthier habits that last.

I also partner with physicians who want their patients to have reliable, structured support between visits. Together, we help patients stay consistent with the recommendations they receive—improving outcomes in weight management, diabetes, cholesterol, GLP-1 support, bariatric preparation, and overall lifestyle change.

 

At CB Health & Wellness, the goal is not just to manage symptoms—it’s to help people reset their habits, rebuild their health, and feel better in their daily lives.
