Easy 5 ingredients Black bean burger

Delicious and easy to make black bean burger made with organic Baja Black beans

This is a low fat, high in fiber and protein burger, made with 5 ingredients and it takes no more than 30 minutes to make.

I know that sometimes cooking black beans takes some time. I like using Beanvivo pouches. There are many flavors , delicious and are ready to use.

For this recipe I used Baja Black beans

with onion, sea salt and avocado oil.

Due to all this flavour I used the liquid in the pouches to mix it with some chia seeds.

I let it sit for 5 minutes and this mixture will create the binder of the burger.

I like the idea of making dishes and not working a lot and these pouches help you with that.

These burgers for me are tastier than any meat burger or even beyond meat burgers. What I like is that it has so much flavour but what I like most is that are low in fat and will make it easy to digest.

Black beans are an excellent source of protein and fiber.

I also used our famous spice mix called Provenzal

It is made with dried Parsley and Dried Garlic pieces.

This spice goes well with any veggie , salad or even french fries.

While growing up , this was a spice that was never missing of our kitchen cabinet.

Easy Black bean vegan burger

Section 1: List Your Ingredients

🍔 1 Beanvivo Baja black bean pouch

🍔 2 Tbsp of chia seeds

🍔 4 Baby bella mushrooms

🍔 3 Garlic cloves

🍔 Handful of spinach

🍔 1 cup of brown rice

🍔 1/4 cup breadcrumbs

🍔 salt, pepper to taste

Section 2: Directions

Directions should always be short and to the point.

  1. Your first step would be to open the Beanvivo baja black bean pouch. Drain it and keep the liquid in a container.

  2. Add 2 tbsp of chia seeds to the liquid, mix well and set aside.

  3. Pure the black beans and also set aside

  4. Cut 3-4 baby bella mushrooms and also press 3 garlic cloves. Turn on the heat and saute with some water 💧 the mushrooms and garlic for 5 minutes until there are cooked and browned.

  5. Add to the pan 1-2 handful of baby spinach and sauté until soft. set aside.

  6. Boil half cup of brown rice and once done set aside 1 cup of cooked rice.

  7. In a bowl add the mushroom and spinach sauté , the black bean pure, the cup of brown rice, 1/4 cup of bread crumbs and the chia seed mixture.

  8. Mix well and later knead with your hands for about 5 minutes until the mixture holds well together.

  9. Divide in 4 pieces and create 4 burgers of 1 inc thickness.

  10. Turn on the fire and grill them for 3-5 minutes on each side.

  11. Toast. the bread and add to the buns some sauce of choice together with some slices of tomatoes, red onions and lettuce.

  12. Accompany with some green salad, cherry tomatoes and some Provenzal. Add some on balsamic vinegar and salt and pepper to taste.
